Andhra Loyola Engineering College became the first institute in Andhra Pradesh to have a Memorandum of Understanding with Autodesk ICTACT Academy.

Autodesk is a leading company which provides design software. With this MoU, Loyola College students get access to patented AUTOCAD, INVEN TOR, REVIT, FUSION 360 Softwares.

AUTOCAD is widely used as design software in the market. INVENTOR, REVIT and FUSION360 are the new advanced versions.

Knowledge about these new technologies will be beneficial to students in mechanical and civil engineering streams, says Francis Xaviour, director of Loyola College. Having knowledge Over courses that are in demand will increase the prospects of students in getting placements in mechanical and civil engineering streams, he added.

A student exchange programme into Autodesk research projects is also a part of the agreement, says G. Sriniiwasan, assistant general manager of ICTACT Academy. The students of Loyola college can also avail the certification programme from Autodesk at just Rs. 1,800 which would costs up to Rs. 40,000 in the market, he added. The inking of the pact will help students in many ways more than expected.
